In the heart of the Luberon, near Roussillon Saint Saturnin les Apt and Gordes , Eric and Thea give a warm welcome to guests staying at the small hamlet which they are lovingly restoring. The Domaine Saint Jean is set well off the road surrounded by cherry orchards and vineyards. The houses are built around a central courtyard with its fountain. For this unusual year we are going to prioritise self catering: Cerisaie: a two bedroomed gîte, Mazet a one bedroom gite with extra sofa bed for 1, Pigeonnier room with self-catering facilities and Atelier, the large new room with patio, plancha and summer kitchen with extra bed. Suite Cerises in la Petite Bastide now hasthe big kitchen for itself, no longer shared, ideal for families which would be ideal for families. Montmorency and Burlat have their own kitchen sith private fridges. The bedrooms are all decorated simply with Eric’s finds with good new beds.

The Domaine Saint Jean is a good base for relaxing and touring the Luberon part of Provence, with its central courtyard where we have installed a new pergola with good spacing between for outdoor meals but each room or gîte has a private option. The pool has a shower and foot bath and your loungers will not be used by other guests. The bar and its indoor seating area will be closed this year. The local wines will be available to guests in a different way, delivery to your door or text us and we bring you the wines.
